Happy Friday everyone! And to any Yanks - happy Juneteeth! It celebrates the announcement of the abolition of slavery in 1865. Thanks for all the birthday wishes last week - I got drunk hehe. Crap weather we've had, eh? Tues & Wed will be hot though - highs of 24-25 maybe?

On the topic, did you know that Gordon Brown's first name is actually James?! And that the Sesame Street's Cookie Monster first ever appearance was in an IBM training video!

To any newcomers - welcome to Happy Bloody Friday, or HBF for short. It started out as a text-circular amongst friends in 2008, and trending topics came to include a bit of trivia, a 'Quiz For A Pint', any birthday celebrations, the occasional tasteless joke and sometimes a very inaccurate weekend weather forecast.
Before long, that 'text to friends' was 3-texts long, and going out to almost 100 people every week. Needless to say, I very quickly became Vodafone's number one customer.
