Happy Bloody Friday! Happy November, and to any Finns - happy Swedishness day...whatever that is! Today is officially the end of Autumn and the start of winter. It is also (almost) 20 years since the fall of the Berlin wall.

This week's Quiz For A Pint - in the cartoon Peanuts, what was the name of Snoopy's owner? Last week's QFAP - a solider or sniper would wear a ghillie suit - it's one of those camouflage outfits covered in plants and foliage.

A woman walks into a bar and asks the barman for a double-entendre. So he gives her one!

HBF is on holiday for 2 weeks :( next HBF will be on the 27th. Happy bonfiring, and enjoy the fireworks!

    It's not the first day of Winter?
    That's the Winter Solstice that falls on the 21st of December.

    I believe Anon. is correct actually. There's not much he doesn't know though, is there? I especially like his poetry.

    ^ Took me a while to suss out what you were on about!

    But I have double-checked, and Anon. is indeed correct; Therefore by implication denoting that HBF is wrong. (Even though HBF is never wrong!)
